Campfire gives those stories a place to gather, one memory at a time. Talk the way you actually talk — Campy keeps your voice, writes it down, and helps organize the memories as they add up.

Every memory starts private. It lives in your Campfire — there's no feed, nobody browsing, and nothing here is published to the web.
When you want someone to see one memory, Campfire makes a link. The link is the key. Whoever has it can read that memory — and nothing else. Turn the link off, and it stops working.
Your recording stays with you. The person you shared with gets the memory in words and photos, not your voice.
Campy is powered by AI built into the Campfire experience. It helps turn what you say into words, shape those words into a memory, and understand how the people and stories in your Campfire fit together. Like many AI-powered products, some of that processing relies on AI providers behind the scenes. Campfire itself does not train AI models on your memories.

What does Campfire cost?
Campfire is free during beta, and you don't need a credit card to begin. We're still working out what Campfire will cost for new storytellers after beta.
If you tell and successfully save your first memory while Campfire is still in beta, you'll become a Founding Storyteller. Your core Campfire account will be free for life.
Core Campfire means the everyday experience of telling, keeping, organizing and sharing your own memories — voice or text, ordinary transcription, Campy's help shaping a memory, your Hearth, Library, Chapters, People, search, your own recordings, photos at normal personal scale, personal sharing you can turn off, Keep, and Storybooks made from your own memories. Optional things we may offer later — such as printed books, physical keepsakes and shipping, or unusually large storage and high-compute features — may be priced separately.
