Features

Everything Campfire does, and nothing it doesn't.

Campfire is not a journaling app and it is not a family tree. It is a place to keep voices.

  • Talking is easier than writing

Tap the microphone and say what you remember. Thirty seconds or ten minutes. Campy listens and keeps the recording alongside the words. When speaking isn't practical, you can write it instead.

  • Your voice, preserved

The audio is the heirloom. Transcription makes it searchable inside your own Campfire; the recording keeps the laugh, the pause, the accent.

  • Chapters that build themselves

Memories gather into chapters — childhood, work, the people you love — without you filing anything.

  • The people around your fire

Campfire learns the names in your life, including the pets, so the people you mention are spelled and remembered correctly.

  • Storybooks and keepsakes

When there are enough memories, Campfire binds them into a storybook you can read, download as a PDF, or print.

  • Private by default

Nothing is public. Share a single memory or a whole storybook by link when you choose to — the link is the key, and you can turn it off. Everything else stays with you.
