A small company, tending a small fire.
Campfire began with a recording nobody thought to make. A parent's voice, an ordinary afternoon, a story told a hundred times and written down zero.
Photographs kept the faces. Nothing kept the telling. So we built the thing we wished our own families had used — somewhere to say a memory out loud, in the time it takes to make coffee, and know it will still be there in fifty years.

We add one thing at a time, carefully. Campfire should feel the same in ten years.
The long ambition is simple: a memory told today should still be readable, hearable, and printable long after the phone it was recorded on is gone.
That means keepsakes you can hold, books that outlive apps, and a way to pass a whole Campfire to the next person in the family. We're building toward that patiently, without asking you to wait.
